How to Activate Nexxtap on Your Device

Note: Before you can download and activate Nexxtap, make sure you have:
- A Google account, 
- A stable internet connection, 
- Your Nexxtap Merchant ID
  1. Download Nexxtap from the Google Play Store
  2. Open the Nexxtap app and allow all permissions for:
    1. Nexxtap to take pictures and record video
    2. Nexxtap to access this devices location
    3. Nexxtap to record Audio

  3. Enter Your Merchant ID 
    Log in using the credentials you received during onboarding. This securely links your device to your Nexxtap account.

    The first device used to log in will become the master device.

     

  4. Name the Device 
    Give your device a clear and relevant name (e.g., “Bar Tablet” or “Bob's Phone”) so you can easily identify it later.
     
  5. Activate the Device 
    Open Nexxtap on the Master Device:
    1. Swipe horizontally from the left edge of the screen to open the side menu
    2. Select the device you just named.
    3. Change the mode of the device from "Inactive" to "Nexxtap".
  6. Adjust any required device settings (e.g. NexxPOS, KDS, editing permissions) based on how and where you’ll be using it.
